A SONG.

[The Beauties of the flowry Spring]

I

The Beauties of the flowry Spring,
When gilded with the Sun,
The Trees that bloom and Birds that sing,
Are far by you outdone.
Your lovely Charms, which all admire,
Prove other Blessings Toys;
And when you Sing, the feather'd Quire
Sit list'ning to your Voice.

II

In you the Gods their Glory show,
Your Beams the World revive.
Angels no greater Bliss can know,
Than you have pow'r to give.
Shou'd Atheists gaze but on your Face,
They in your Charms might view,
And be convinc'd in e'ry Grace,
There is a Heav'n in you.
