And with black Blood, and noxious Humors fed,
The Fury Faction gradual Force acquires,
Stretches her hideous Limbs, and trails her speckled Spires:
Then tries her Infant-Strength, and first invents
Grounds of Distrust, and Jealousy foments,
Whispers Detraction, breeds Disgust and Spite,
A secret Prelude to her full-grown Might.
