But can Confession in it self obtainAn absolute forgiveness? Can we gain
Heav'n by a sigh? Oh no, my Soul express
A perfect sorrow, when thou dost confess,
Then let resolved Constancy endure,
And thou, my Soul, shalt truly rest secure.
