Christ dyed and suffred great payne
for oure synnes and wyckednesse
but he is now rysen agayne

to make vs full of gladnesse.
Let vs all reioyse therfore
and geue hym thankes for euermore
synging to hī

There was no man that coulde ouerwynne
The power of death nor his myght
And all this came thorow oure synne
wherfore we were dampned by ryght
By occasyon of which thynge
