The Pater noster to gods glory, VVith prayer to him for Quene Mary.

Our father which in heauen doste sit,
We sanctifie thy name,

1140

Our praier we praye thee to admyt,
Quene Mary saue from blame.
Thy kyngdome be vs here among,
As in our hartes to raigne,
Queene Mary prosper thou here long,
Her honour none to stayne.
Thy wyll in earth be done and wrought,
Right as it is aboue.
Quene Mary bothe in deede and thought,
Maye thee bothe dreade and loue.
Our dayly breade geue vs this daye,
With all that wee doo nede
Our noble Quene Mary we praye,
Thou sende alwaye good speede.
And nowe (O Lorde) our synnes remit
Whiche we haue thee transgrest,
As we doo lette our neighbour flyt,
Out of our inward brest.
And lette vs not be ouercome
By fowle temptacion,
Our Quene thou graunt (of thy wysdom)
To honour thee alone.
But vs delyuer by thy myght,
From euery kynde of yll.
Quene Mary keepe bothe daye and night,
And prosper to thy wyll.
