TO ALFRED HORNER.
DEAR SIR,
If you to me a pass will give,
I 'll cause your name in time to live,
It in my book I will record
Which will be for your own reward.
I 'll cause your name in time to live,
It in my book I will record
Which will be for your own reward.
You may not know what I will gain,
Except you send me on your train,
Nor do you know what I will loose
If you to me a pass refuse.
Except you send me on your train,
Nor do you know what I will loose
If you to me a pass refuse.
I would address the President
But here my time is quite near spent.
A man whose heart is without bound
The dearest friend the needy's found.
But here my time is quite near spent.
A man whose heart is without bound
The dearest friend the needy's found.
