Poi[n]t Obsn. No. 2. On a small Island opposite to the mouth of the
Gasconade made the following obsertns.
Equal Alds. of ☉ with Sextant.[2]
Note.—The ☉ was so much obscured during the A.M. observation,
that I cannot be positive as to it's accuracy, nor could I obtain the
A. M. obstn. at an earlyer hour from the same cause.
