LENGTHEN COURSE IN ARCHITECTURE:
The President explained to the Board that the School of Architecture has considered the matter of extending the
architectural course in the University of Virginia from four to five sessions beginning with the session of
1948-49, which has been approved by the University Senate. The matter was presented to the Board for its
action, and the recommendation was approved.
