APPOINTMENTS
In accordance with the resolution adopted by the Board of Visitors of The Rector and Visitors
of the University of Virginia on 14 July 1945, the President announced the following appointment
Major William L. Simmons, Jr. as Associate Professor of Military Science, effective 1 September
1963
The President also announced the following appointments
Mr. Francis L. Berkeley, Jr. as Executive Assistant to the President, effective 1 April 1963
Mr. J. Norwood Bosserman as Assistant Dean of the School of Architecture, for the period
1 February 1963 through 30 June 1964.
Mr. Harold I Taylor, Jr. as Director of Buildings and Grounds, effective 1 April 1963.
Mr. Klaus Ziock as Acting Director of the Virginia Associated Research Center, effective
1 October 1962
