From Mr. Paul G. McIntire, statue to George Rogers Clark,
the Conqueror of the Northwest and a native of Albemarle,
$35,000.From Mr. Paul G. McIntire, for the erection of a noble
and beautiful Greek amphitheatre for out-door music
and festivals in connection with the McIntire School
of Fine Arts, provided the structure can be erected
as contemplated within the sum mentioned, $60,000.From Mr. John Barton Payne, etchings and engravings, valued
at $12,000 to $20,000.From Mrs. Frederick W. Hunter, of New York City, for
Department of Art and Architecture, her husband's
valuable work "Stiegel Glass" and handsome specimes
of Colonial Glass.From Mrs. I. U. Seligman, New York City, to the University
Library, three volumes Journals of Washington Irving -
edited.
