REVISION OF THE MANUAL OF THE BOARD OF VISITORS, 1991
In reporting on the action of the Executive Committee in approving the changes to the Manual recommended by the Manual revision committee, Mr."Clark seconded the recommendation of the Executive Committee, asked that the Rector order the reprinting of the Manual, suggested that the Rector designate a Member of the Board to work with the Secretary on the reprinting, and asked that the Rector discharge the Special Committee to Revise the Manual.
The following resolution was adopted:
- WHEREAS, the Special Committee to Revise the Manual has approved revisions to the Manual; and
- WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 5.9 of the Manual, the Executive Committee of the Board has approved the recommendations of the Special Committee;
- RESOLVED, the revisions to the Manual as shown on Attachment C are approved effective November 8, 1997. As of their effective date, these provisions shall supersede all prior actions of the Board of Visitors which are inconsistent with them.
After the resolution was adopted, the Rector ordered the reprinting of the Manual, appointed Mr. Clark to work with the Secretary, commended Mr. Clark for his work and discharged the Special Committee to Revise the Manual.
