The following resolution was adopted:

• RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the following persons be and they are hereby elected to the faculty:
• Dr. William S. Allerton as Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, for the period October 1, 1970, through June 30, 1971.
• Dr. Arthur S. Bender as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine, for three years, effective October 1, 1970.
• Mr. Michael E. Bender as Associate Professor of Marine Science, for three years, effective September 1970.
• Mr. Robert L. Bolus as Instructor in Marine Science, for one year, effective September 1, 1970.
• Mr. Albert B. F. Duncan as Visiting Professor of Astronomy, one-half time, for one academic year, effective September 1, 1970, at a session salary of [OMITTED].
• Dr. John R. Eagle as Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, for the period October 1, 1970, through June 30, 1971.
• Mr. Jochen Edrich as Lecturer in Electrical Engineering, part-time, for the period October 1, 1970, through June 30, 1971.
