DEATH OF MR. MORRIS E. ROSE

Mr. Morris E. Rose, Robert C. Taylor Professor of Physics, died 10 November 1967. Mr. Rose had been a member of the faculty since 1961.

From The Rector, the President, and the individual Visitors there were expressions of the affection and esteem in which Mr. Rose was held, and the Secretary was directed to convey to his next of kin and to record in the permanent minutes of the Board the deep sense of loss felt by the Board and the gratitude of the Visitors, both as a body and as individuals, for Mr. Rose's distinguished and devoted services to the University.
