RESIGNATIONS
The following resignations were announced:
- Mr. George P. Garrett, Associate Professor of English, effective 31 January 1967, to devote full time to creative writing.
- Mr. Fred Gornick, Associate Professor of Materials Science, effective 30 June 1967, to accept a position as Chairman of the Chemistry Department of the University of Maryland at Baltimore.
- Mr. Thomas A. Gover, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, effective 30 June 1967, to accept a position at Gustavus Adolphus College.
- Mr. Paul E. Kelly, Associate Professor of Education, effective 30 June 1967, to accept a position at the University of Georgia.
- Mr. Stephen J. Manning, Associate Professor of English, effective 30 June 1967, to accept a position at the University of Kentucky.
- Mr. Edward A. Mearns, Jr., Professor of Law, effective 30 June 1967, to accept the deanship of a new law school to be established as part of Long Island University.
- Mr. John L. Peterman, Assistant Professor of Economics, effective 30 June 1967, to accept a position at the University of Chicago.
- Mr. Burette S. Tillinghast, Associate Professor of Education, effective 30 June 1967, to accept a position at the University of South Alabama.
