DEATH OF MR. EDWIN W. PATTERSON
Mr. Edwin W. Patterson, Scholar-in-Residence, died on Thursday, 23 December 1965, after a short illness. He had been on the staff of the University at intervals since September 1957.
From the Rector, the President and the individual Visitors there were expressions of the affection and esteem in which Mr. Patterson was held, and the Secretary was directed to convey to his widow and to record in the permanent minutes of the Board the deep sense of loss felt by the Board and the gratitude of the Visitors, both as a body and as individuals, for Mr. Patterson's distinguished and devoted services to the University.
