The following resolution was adopted:

• RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the election of Mr. Thomas J. Gates, as approved by the Board on 7 June 1968, be changed to read as follows:
• Mr. Thomas J. Gates as Acting Assistant Professor of Education, for one year, effective 1 September 1968, at a session salary of [OMITTED], plus 20 percent for summer work, or a total salary of [OMITTED]
