A description of frendship.

In frendship true there surely is
Of nothyng lacke, or scarcetie,
He whiche is frendly doth not mys,
No tyme his frende to gratefye.
Neuer therfore was frendshyp found,
In selfe loue, or in auarice:
Contrarily it doth abound,
Occasion shewde in exercise,
Loue neuer doth his frende despyse,
Sure frendshyp knoweth not hir owne.
Of this description to the wyse,
Now hēceforth may frēdship be knowne.
