Aire be thow ferme, O fyre agane be cold,

deathe become sweit, that kills bothe yong and old;
heavens chainge your course, your circles, and your place;
rage, hete, disdaynes, wreathe, rigour, and disgrace,
trewe lovers hartes content; lat theme for play
there greate contempts, that does there ioyes efface,
tak in gud pairt, and beare with all deley;
Lat all things chainge and alter without stey;
imposseble things posseble may be,
sen these my flams be quenscht which boore the suay,
and to to long of ioyes hes spoyled me:
for now the cordes ar cutt and lousse the chaynes
