With the two-steps they put to one stride

A nest where the young folk are bred
Up, to take on the work of the dead.

With the two-steps they put to one stride

Is withdrawn from our side and our hand,
And the oldest as far as the land
Of old England may reach.

A nest where the young folk are bred
Up, to take on the work of the dead.
