A Summer Christmas and a Sonnet upon The S.S. "Ballaarat." | ||
The stalkers, ‘sneaking’ round to try
The far lake, found the ducks more shy
And only shot a brace or two
Of plover, while but few ‘mobs’ flew
Over the ambush and those few
So high as to be out of range.
The far lake, found the ducks more shy
And only shot a brace or two
Of plover, while but few ‘mobs’ flew
Over the ambush and those few
So high as to be out of range.
