In Times of yore, was neither Bond nor Bill,For each would then his word, by word fulfill:
Till when crept in this strange Catastrophe,
As some for conformation, wrote Per me.
Which now say Scriueners, non est ita mos,
It must be Nouerint per presentes nos.
