The maister and the man. 23.

A man, and his man, chaunced late to bee
Nie where a crowe stoode criyng in a tree.
Iames (quoth the maister) the crow hath spyde thee.
Nay by God, he loketh on you maister (quoth be)
Taunts (quoth the maister) rebound somtyme I see.
Where I thought to taunt thee, thou doest taunt mee.
