SIZE OF COLLECTIONS

In the University libraries combined there was on January 1, 1933, a total
of 207,582 volumes. These were located as follows:

Engineering  4,533 volumes 
Graduate  1,391 volumes 
Law  26,880 volumes 
Medicine  12,075 volumes 
School Libraries and Other Collections  38,183 volumes

These figures do not include unbound material. The various libraries receive
a total of 976 current periodicals; and the back files, somewhat incomplete, number
about 1,200 titles.
