De eodem, Epig. 22.

O Phœbus and ye sisters nine,
What shall I do with you?
Behold that merry Muse of mine
Her Poet will undoe.
Posthumus late was wont to kisse
With half lips, which I loath,
But now my plague redoubled is,
He kisses me with both.
