Lenvoye.
O myn [avowe], wich callid art Seynt Gyle,Tween hope & dred most mekely I requere,
Thynk on þi man þat laboureth to compile
This lytel dete, of hooll herte and entyeer,
Haue mynde on alle that trust in þi praier,
For love of hym that starff vpon þe rood,
Yif thou be mene, we stonde no thyng in were,
