To his singular good Lord and Master.

Long mai'st thou liue an argument of praise,
A lordlie subject to my loving pen,
That on thy worth the wondring world may gaise,
A magistrat admir'd amongst all men.
Yea, more and more heavens grant thee from aboue,
The Makers mercie, and the Masters loue.
