THE FAITH OF THE PHILISTINE.
The great Deceiver finds himself deceived:France's bereaver is of France bereaved:
And England, half converted by his fall,
Thinks there's a God who governs after all!
This is the faith o' the British Philistine;
Failure is damnable; Success divine.
