þane grete sante Andrew Increly,
and sad, þai hundis war þai
þat he chasit fra Nicea.
þane can he till his fadir say:
“quhat sal I haf, gywe but delay
þi sone liffand I gyf to þe?”
þane gretand mekly sad he:
“þar for as for myn derrest thinge,
I sall [hym] gyf ȝou but gruchinge.”
þane sancte Andrew his prayer mad,
and raysit hym but mar abad.
