To þe, lauerd, mi saule houe .I. sothli.
Mi god, in þe .I. traist; noght schame sal .I..

Nene scorne me sal mi faa;
For, þat þe vphald, noght schent ben þa.

Schente be alle are quede doand
Ouer tomehed in ani land.

Schewe me, lauerd, þine waies to se,
And þine sties lere þou me.

In þi sothnes þou me righte,
And lere me bath dai and nighte;
For mi god heler art þou ai,
And .I. vpheld þe alle þe dai.

Lauerd, ofe þine reuthes mine þou mare,
And of þine milþes, of werld þat are.

Giltes of mine youthe in thoghte,
And mine vnwitandnesses min noghte;

After [þi] mercies mine of me,
Þou lauerd, for godenes ofe þe.

Swete and right lauerd; for þat sal he
Gife lagh to giltand in wai be.

Right handtame he sal in dome,
And lere þe milde his waies to come.

Alle waies of lauerd mercy and sothfastnes,
To sekand his witeword and his witnes.

For þi name, lauerd, milþe to mi sinne,

Whilk es man dredes lauerd? with-outen les

His saule sal dwelle in godenesses ma;
And his sede erde þe land sal swa.

Festnes es lauerd him dredand to;

Mine eghen ai to lauerd þai be,

Loke in me, and ofe me hafe mercy;
