31. [Of Sir Philip Sidney.]

Perfeccon, peerles vertue without pride,
Honor and learning linckt with highest loue;
For of the thought is trewe discrecon tryde,
Loue of the lif that highest honors prove;
In Angells armes with heavnely hands imbraced,
Paradise pleasde, and all the world disgraced.
Seeke all the world, oh seeke and neuer find
In earthly mowld the mownte of such a minde;
Diuinest guiftes that god on man bestoweth,
No glory suche as of suche glory groweth;
End of the joyes that hath all greife begone
Yitt lett me weepe when all the world hathe done.
