The university fee goes to the fund intended to defray the general expenses of the University. 
Payment of this fee entitles the student, without additional charge, to the use of 
the library; to the privileges of the gymnasium, with baths, private lockers, etc., and the 
advice and aid of the physical training staff and to free medical attendance by the 
University Physician in case of illness. It also covers all regular examination and 
diploma fees.
College students from Virginia taking a single technical course in the Department 
of Engineering pay a tuition fee of $30, or $10 per term.
