The Mouse Pegasus
The best mice have their Pegasus,
As well as the best rats.
The Pegasus of mice is small
But can outfly the bats.
He can run streaks and he can shoot
Like a star-beam through the night,
And squeal a heart-transfixing tune,
And is a delicate sight.
