UNIVERSITY BIENNIAL BUDGET
The President reported that he had appeared before the joint hearing of the House Appropriations
Committee and Senate Finance Committee with respect to the capital outlay portions
of the University budget. He had asked the Committees to restore the following items

| George Mason College | 1,050,000 |
| Alderman Library | 500,000 |
| University Hospital | 1,000,000 |
| Electric Power Distribution System |
120,000 |
| $3,670,000 |
He had also written a letter to the Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee and the
Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee requesting restorations, in the amount of $607,760,
in the maintenance and operation portion of the University's Biennial Budget
