SITE STUDY OF COPELEY HILL

The President stated that, in view of the planned development of the Copeley Hill site,
including the erection of a fieldhouse and married student housing, a site study of the area
was needed. He reported that the firm of Anderson, Beckwith and Haible had prepared an excellent
site study for George Mason College and he requested authorization by the Board for
the employment of the same firm for the site study of Copeley Hill.

The following resolution was adopted

RESOLVED by the Board of Visitors of The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia
that the President be and he is hereby authorized to employ the firm of Anderson, Beckwith
and Haible to make a site study at Copeley Hill at a cost not exceeding $7,500.
