RETIREMENTS
- The following retirements were announced:
- Mr. Charles M. Davison, Jr., Professor of Law, effective May 31, 1979. Mr. Davison has been a member of the faculty since 1962.
- Mr. Gaston G. Fornes, Professor of Mechanical Engineering, effective May 31, 1979. Mr. Fornes has been a member of the faculty since 1949.
- Mr. Mark G. Foster, Professor of Electrical Engineering, effective May 31, 1979. Mr. Foster has been a member of the faculty since 1960.
- Dr. Charles J. Frankel, Professor of Orthopedics, effective June 30, 1979. Dr. Frankel has been a member of the faculty since 1939.
- Mr. Nathan E. Johnson, Associate Professor of Education, effective May 31, 1979. Mr. Johnson has been a member of the faculty since 1967.
- Mr. John W. Mitchell, William Barton Rogers Professor of Physics, effective May 31, 1979. Mr. Mitchell has been a member of the faculty since 1959.
- Mr. Charles E. Moran, Jr., Lecturer, General Faculty, effective June 30, 1979. Mr. Moran has been a member of the faculty since 1975.
- Mr. Donald L. Reid, Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering, effective February 28, 1979. Mr. Reid has been a member of the faculty since 1952.
- Mr. Frederick L. W. Richardson, Professor of Business Administration, The Darden School, effective May 31, 1979. Mr. Richardson has been a member of the faculty since 1965.
- Dr. Meinhard Robinow, Professor of Pediatrics, effective June 30, 1979. Dr. Robinow has been a member of the faculty since 1975.
- Mr. Rutledge D. Vining, Professor of Economics, effective May 31, 1979. Mr. Vining has been a member of the faculty since 1945.
- Mr. William S. Weedon, University Professor, effective May 31, 1979. Mr. Weedon has been a member of the faculty since 1934.
- Mr. Charles K. Woltz, T. Munford Boyd Professor of Law, effective May 31, 1979. Mr. Woltz has been a member of the faculty since 1947.
- Mr. Edward E. Younger, Alumni Professor of History, effective May 31, 1979. Mr. Younger has been a member of the faculty since 1946.
