Clarastella | ||
On Proud.
Proud swels like Boreas, with face red as fire,And keeps a blustring stir in fuming ire,
So Rubies; do resemble flames, and yet
Are neither hot or capable of heat,
Since ther's no fire can warm them: So art thou
As cold with inward fear, as hot in show.
'Tis but false fire thy seeming Passion givs;
Then thine, there's not a tamer spirit livs.
