Thalia's Banquet | ||
Vpon Sir Graceles.
Epigram 107.
While grim God-dammee, at my Ladies table,Chewing the cudde of vengeance still did fit;
And (lately bastinado'd) was not able,
For melancholy to digest a bit,
But tearing heauen with feareful oathes did threate,
The flesh of that base slaue must be his meate;
And would haue sayd, A dagger he should buie,
Mistaking swore, A begger he would die.
