The following resolution was adopted:

• RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the following promotions be and they are hereby made:
• Dr. Jose deOlmos, Research Associate, to Assistant Professor of Anatomy, for three years, effective July 1, 1973, at an annual salary of $[OMITTED].
• Mr. ChingSeng Fang, Assistant Professor, to Associate Professor of Marine Science, for three years, effective September 1, 1973.
• Mr. Dexter S. Haven, Assistant Professor, to Associate Professor of Marine Science, for three years, effective September 1, 1973.
• Mr. Albert Y. Kuo, Assistant Professor, to Associate Professor of Marine Science, for three years, effective September 1, 1973.
• Lieutenant Commander Daniel T. Oliver, Assistant Professor, to Associate Professor of Naval Science, for the period October 9, 1972, through August 31, 1974.
• Mr. Frank O. Perkins, Assistant Professor, to Associate Professor of Marine Science, for three years, effective September 1, 1973.
• Miss Dolores M. Schroeder, Instructor, to Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery, for three years, effective February 16, 1973.
• Dr. Hubert A. Shaffer, Jr., Instructor, to Assistant Professor of Radiology, for three years, effective August 16, 1973, at an annual salary of $[OMITTED].
• Dr. Morton C. Wilhelm, Clinical Assistant Professor, to Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery, effective July 1, 1973.
