RESOLUTION CONCERNING RETRANSFER OF EASTERN SHORE PROPERTY
TO COMMUNITY COLLEGES
The following resolution was adopted:
- RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the President or Comptroller be and either of them is, with the consent of the Governor first obtained, hereby authorized to join with the United States of America, through the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, in executing appropriate instruments and doing all acts necessary to convey to the Department of Community Colleges of the Commonwealth of Virginia the remainder of the property known as the Eastern Shore Branch of the University of Virginia located in Accomack County, containing approximately one-hundred nine and 76/100 (109.76) acres of land and twenty-eight (28) buildings, along with certain utility easements, such instruments as may be required to be subject to the approval of the Legal Adviser to The Rector and Visitors.
