(4.25) Linguistic Notes

The informant translated dah'ádzaaná'a 'he sat up'. It seems, however, to be a combination of the prefix dah- 'up' and the 3rd person perf. of 'á-...[? perf.]- ndá [perf. stem -dzaa] 'to do so' [act. intr.].
