My Deare I recive
your letter an was glad to her from you
I hope these lines will find well as these
leave me & mother Elzibeth I am in Africa
an is well satfid this is the Country for the
Culore raice My deare I do wich I could see
your fasce again, o, Miss Elzibeth most evey
thing Grows in this Country oringes peach
wasnots most very thing. I did leave Careys
burg in dec 1858 to go to the fane. I did not
Beleave that it was somany thing heare in
this Country I have ben goin to Choole but
I have ben employed to wait on the amegrant
in the Resepticel My Choole teacher name, Miss
Julet Hazzit. I have lost my Deare Brother
he is dead he is dead he left a Good test
tamony behind he died happy. very happy indeed
when you write again please write me all the
Strange nose you did write A short letter to me
before please tell Mrs Sarah Loois I have
written her an never recive no anser. Give
my love to your Mother an Father. Give love to Maly
& Roday tell them tha must write to me Bety Walker
says tell Roday as she did not write me write before
please rite when the ship return.
