ALS 4 pp. December 19, 1861 Letter from Adelaide E. Case to Charles N. Tenney

Adelaide has received two letters from Charles and answers the first. She chastises him for praising her, saying she is not sweet and has a rebellious and wicked heart. She writes about the unusually warm weather in December, while staying with Aunt Sperry, and that she will go back to school in February. She comments on Charles' health and closes with a postscript thanking him for the 'the house "Uncle Sam" built'.
