SCENE THE FIRST.

Cassius, Cimber.
Cim.
That which I say to thee is certain: hence
A short time since Brutus was seen to go,
With troubled countenance, his eyes suffused
With tears, and towards his house he went. Oh could
He ever change? ...

Cas.

And he loves glory and integrity;
Soon, as he promised, will he come to us.
I do rely and trust in him e'en more
Than in myself. Each word and deed of his
Spring from a lofty heart; the interest
Of Rome alone he weighs and contemplates.

Cim.
Behold him here.

Cas.
