The hurry in which the first edition of this Drama was printed, has rendered the copies in many places unintelligible, in every page the sense is perverted. The present has been carefully revised.
The taste and liberality with which this Drama has been produced, the skill of the management, the beauty of the scenery and music, and the earnestness of EVERY Performer, have furnished a theme for the praise of every critic and spectator: further testimony would be almost impertinent if it were not offered in the shape of very cordial thanks.
