Does not Sabina's fate excite thy pity?
Aquil.
Yes, I confess Augustus most unjust:
He thinks not that revenge is in your power.
Beauty and virtue both alike are yours,
What heart so cold but these must surely warm:
Before his eyes you should—
Sab.
[haughtily.]
What should Sabina?
Aquil.
Pursue him still with unabated passion,
And make him blush at his inconstancy.
[aside.]
The tempest threats, let us regain the shore.
