EPILOGVS.

The lofty Buskin, and the learned Bay,
Are not exspected to adorn our Play;
Our Author deemeth these fair trophies fie
To grace the raptures of a riper wit.
The stately lines of Sophocles high strain
Flow from the fountain of Minerva's brain:
Instead of Bayes, and Buskins, if our stile
May fairly merit your deserved smile;
'Tis all we aime at; tither grant us this,
Or gently pardon what you judge amiss.
