THE DAY-SPRING.
[_]

(Vignette.)

Lo, the tempests clear away
To the glorious break of day,
Hatreds, wars, and evils cease
At the golden reign of peace,
For in beauty from afar
See—the cross,—the morning-star,
Smiles on this benighted shore
And attracts to “sin no more.”
