NOTES AND QUERIES.
A lady sat by me at Verey's,Making at me very queer eyes:
A twenty and a five pound note
Were in the pocket of my coat:
I made no note of her departur,
Though many a query I made arter;
For when that lady went from Verey's
With her went both notes and queer eyes.
