[O God, who didst for man's salvation]
O God, who didst for man's salvationThy Son to suffering give,
To make for sin propitiation,
And shew us how to live!
Grant that, most thankfully embracing
That grace so rich, so free,
We may, the Saviour's footsteps tracing,
His faithful followers be,
Through Him who reigns with Thee.
