IMMORTAL LOVE.
Marriage, though holy, is for earth;
But Love, matured on earth, remains
To those who, in the second birth,
Rise free from earthly stains.

Beyond the rocks and shoals of Time,
The shoreless and unfathomed sea
Extends, unchangeably sublime,
Of God's Eternity;

And far beyond our mortal gaze
